Sam Kristofski is a director, photographer, and writer with a distinctive pop vintage style. Born in New Zealand, he is currently based between Los Angeles, Sydney, and Auckland. Kristofski has been fascinated with film and photography since the age of nine and attended film school in Sydney.
Kristofski has shot stills, album covers, and motion for bands such as Tame Impala, The Babe Rainbow, Alison Wonderland, UMO, POND, Weyes Blood, and many others. His work has been featured in Vogue, Purple magazine, Rolling Stone, and other publications. He has won numerous awards, including an Emmy for his LA Kings commercial ‘This is LA’ .
Kristofski's prolific commercial work includes projects for Visa, Lion Nathan, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Uniqlo, Maison Margiela, and Suntory.
