Graeme Murray first picked up a camera aged 14 and learned to process and print the pictures he shot using traditional darkroom techniques. After turning professional with his image making he took up an opportunity to work with one of New Zealand’s top AV production companies and spent seven years honing his skills in multimedia, theatrical lighting, interactive graphics, and even pyrotechnics.
Now a successful campaign and adventure tourism photographer, Graeme has worked all around the world and revels in the outdoorsbeing his work space. He works locally and internationally with advertising agencies and clients shooting a diverse range of subjects from portraiture to still life and action to landscapes. Graeme is as comfortable in the ocean as he is up a mountain or in studios with huge lighting setups.
In his spare time you will find him chasing adrenalin riding his MTB, surfing, foiling, kite surfing, snowboarding and even maintaining MTB tracks. His work has been featured in many international exhibits including Red Bull Illume’s world show, Mad Mike’s photo exhibit, and putting on the world’s first mountain bike photo exhibit.
